Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that permanently melts the submental fat under the chin to get rid of the double chin and define the jawline! This medication is a deoxycholic acid (an acid our body naturally creates to break down fat cells). Usually 2-4 treatments are needed but results are permanent! Kybella can also be used off label to burn fat in the armpit/bra area, inner thighs and lower tummy! Kybella does cause a great amount of swelling, burning and redness so plan for a couple weeks of “down time”.
